Hi! I’m Maria Alejandra Villarreal, a chocolate lover since forever, and now a certified chocolatier and professional chocolate taster.
I’ve always believed chocolate is more than a sweet treat, it’s a story, a culture, a journey of senses. That passion led me to study chocolate seriously, to understand cacao from its roots, and to share that world with others through tastings and experiences.
About Karü Chocolates
In 2020, I founded Karü Chocolates, a brand born from the desire to showcase the true flavor and beauty of Colombian cacao. I started in my kitchen, making chocolate bars with the flavors I love most : tropical, fruity, bold.
What began as a passion project has grown into a brand present in 4 countries and expanding. We working closely with Colombian cacao farmers and turning every bar into a sensory story.
